On Thursday, May 23rd the Job Fair 2019 took place in the Fantasy Dome at the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre. Organised by the GIZ Ghana, Ministry of Employment & Labour Relations and the Ghanaian German Centre it was the biggest Job Fair so far with over 140 employers and close to 1,000 job vacancies to help address the job shortage in Ghana. There were over 4000 job seekers at the event.
Companies with booths at the Job Fair included Knauf Ghana, Bosch, GT Bank, Fidelity Bank, Zipline, GIZ, Brussels Airlines, Okada.com, Amaliteh, Food Pharmacy, Scania West Africa, and Ghana UK Construction.
Workers, students and vendors who trooped to our booth were interested in on our openings or how to get enrolled in our training sessions. Thank you to all our visitors!
In all, the Job Fair was a total success. We shortlisted a couple candidates for our Training Instructor position and had more sign-ups for the Training Centre from Candidates who wanted to know more about the Knauf products because they were distributors and or already in the Construction business and wanted to have an in-depth knowledge on how to use the product and be certified at the end.
